This May WHO urged more investment into mental health.
They defined mental health as:
.. a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.'
On 20th May there is going to be a free webinar specifically about mental health and the legal profession.
LawCare (a charity that promotes good mental health and well-being in the sector) will be joined by the Law Society. An impressive panel will include Karen Baxter (partner at Lewis Silkin) and Nick Bloy (lawyer and well-being strategist)
They will discuss strong and re-assuring leadership and why showing compassion both to ourselves and others really matters now.
